Intact COVID-19 Relief: One Month Rebate Available
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, every Ontario auto insurer has responded differently. Every customer’s situation is unique and may continue to change during the crisis. Intact insurance acknowledges COVID-19 continues to impact Ontario Auto Insurance policy holders. Intact Insurance is committed to helping customers affected by the evolving pandemic. Intact Insurance is offering immediate support to recognize customers’ financial hardship, changing driving habits, or those who are essential workers.
If you’re an Intact Insurance personal auto customer whose driving habits have changed, including commuting for essential reasons, you can request relief equivalent to up to one month of your car insurance premium.
Personal auto customers can request relief equivalent to one month of auto premium before tax. The minimum amount of relief for each eligible vehicle is $25.

To request the new auto insurance relief, Intact Insurance customers can simply visit their Client Centre to apply. You will be asked basic information which includes your name, date of birth, and policy number as part of the enrollment process.
Log into Client Centre to request relief to reflect your changing driving habits.
The Intact Insurance COVID-19 Rebate initiative will expire on May 31, 2021.
